What happens with delivery and collection of the bouncing castle?

Accepted Answer

Delivery to Gisborne City locations is FREE. If you are outside of Gisborne City limits, travel charges will apply.  Drop off times vary between 7:30am and 10:00am and, collection times are between 4:00pm and 6:00pm. Let us know if you require specific times and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs. Note that this doesn't affect the amount of time you'll have the castle for - it'll be at least 6 hours regardless of drop off and collection times. Please ensure the castle is clean, in the condition it was dropped off in and, remains inflated with the the fan blower ON ready for collection.​​​

What happens if it rains?

Accepted Answer

New Zealand weather is very unpredictable! So if heavy rain or high wind is due, we won't cancel until the morning of your booking. We'll either postpone to another day that suits or offer you a refund.   The castles can handle a light breeze and the odd shower. If it rains, towel dry the castle and you are good to go again! In case of a heavy downpour, have an umbrella or chair ready and place over the fan blower to protect it from the elements.

What access do you need?

Access requirements 1 power point is needed for the fan blower. Bear this in mind when deciding where you'll position the castle. We'll supply a 25m extension cord for you. The castles are big and larger than most single gates, so the location needs to be easily accessible. Take a look at the size of your castle in the specifications section on this page to ensure you have enough room in your chosen location. You'll also need to add a clearance of 1m around the unit.   Outdoor set up If you're setting up outside, choose a grassed area - concrete is unsafe and we won't be able to inflate the castle outdoors unless we can peg it down. Take note of any phone lines, power lines (above and below ground), water pipes and sewer pipes. Our pegs are around 46cm long and need to be used to safely set up outdoors.  To mow or not to mow? We recommend mowing the grass 4-5 days before your booking. This will usually prevent loose grass from getting onto the castle.   Indoor set up
